The founder and managing partner of the Greek Member firm is John Tripidakis, an attorney with over twenty six (26) years of legal experience. Education: University of Athens Law School (LL.B); London University (LL.M. in Law of Multinational Enterprises, International Business Transactions, Company Law and Social Policy in the European Economic Community, International Comparative Labor Law); Ph.D. candidate in Int¢l Estates; Postgraduate specialization in Tax Law (1 year course); Degree in Accounting. Admissions: admitted 1983, Greek Supreme Court. Legal counsel at the Employment Organization (OAED) and at the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Author of the following books: "Real Estate Taxation", "Tax Court¢s Procedure", "Avoidance of Double Taxation", "The Tax Lawsuit" and numerous articles on Real Estate, Taxation and Business Law.
Born in Athens, Greece, Mr. Tripidakis has successfully represented hundreds of expatriates and individuals from the United States, Europe, Australia and South Africa on legal matters in Greece. He specializes in estate planning and administration, as well as overseeing real property transactions in Greece. He is included in the US Embassy¢s in Greece exclusive list of lawyers since 1997. He is a member of the Athens Bar Association, Taxation Association, Labor Law and Social Security Association, American - Hellenic Chamber of Commerce, British - Hellenic Chamber of Commerce and Canadian - Hellenic Chamber of Commerce. He is fluent in English, Greek and also moderate French.
